  • Psychotherapy

My therapy approach draws from psychodynamic and humanistic principles and aims to uncover various factors contributing to distress in an empathic environment. I normalize patients expressing their needs and feedback to foster ongoing collaboration. As needed, I may incorporate other therapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure-response prevention therapy (ERP), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). The goal is not only short-term symptomatic relief but also long-lasting positive changes in work, home, and relationships.

  • Medication managagement

I have expertise in psychopharmacology. Even though I use medications, I recognize their limitations in addressing the crux of psychological pain. I believe psychiatric ailments stem from complex interactions among genetics, childhood experiences, cultural influences, societal forces, our social networks, habits, thoughts, and behaviors. Therefore, I use medications judiciously and collaboratively within this broader context.

  • Therapy and medication management

    Combined Therapy + medication

Combined treatment—integrating both psychotherapy and medication—can be especially powerful for individuals navigating complex or persistent mental health challenges. While therapy helps uncover patterns, build emotional insight, and foster meaningful change, medication can ease the physiological burden of symptoms like anxiety, depression, or inattention, creating the mental clarity needed for deeper therapeutic work. Together, they enhance one another: therapy makes medication more effective by addressing root causes, and medication makes therapy more accessible by reducing distress. This holistic approach often leads to more sustained progress and a greater sense of internal stability and self-awareness.

  • Play therapy

    Play Therapy

Play therapy is a developmentally sensitive approach that uses play as a primary medium for children to express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through imaginative games, storytelling, art, and toys, children can explore complex emotions and internal conflicts in a way that feels safe and natural. Play therapy supports emotional growth, improves regulation, and strengthens relational patterns. It is especially effective for children dealing with self-esteem issue, anxiety, trauma, loss, behavioral challenges, or social difficulties.
